The Arizona State men's golf team had some solid performances last week overseas, as sophomores James Byrne and Stephan Gross turned in very good outings Byrne smashed the Newburgh-on-Ythan course record with an 11-under 61 in the second round on his way to an eight-stroke win in the North-east District Open, the Scottish Golf Union's 72-hole Order of Merit Tournament. Gross finished second in an European professional tournament. (more)
